- Mode of Action: Tueric™ is an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) with larvicidal effect against flies after ingestion. It interferes with the moulting process of larvae and pupation, leading to deformed or/and dead larvae, pupae or adults.
- Application: Tueric™ stimulate the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) system, a chemical “transmitter” produced at nerve endings, which inhibits both nerve to nerve and nerve to muscle communi- cation. The affected insect becomes paralyzed, stops feeding, and dies after a few days.
