- Mode of Action: Saylor™ is a foliar fungicide with preventative action. It interferes with several of the (fungus) vital life functions. For this reason, resistance is less likely to develop. Copper oxychloride is a protectant fungicide/bactericide which prevents infection on plants. Its mode of action is by interfering with the enzyme system of spores and mycelium, a process which is usually irreversible. It forms a chemical obstacle against fungal attack. Deposits must be on the crop before fungal spores begin to germinate.
- Application: Saylor™ is preventively used against the plant diseases like leaf spot, fruit rot, bud rot, canker, blights, downy mildew and red rust on crops like areca nut, coconut, banana, citrus, chilies, cardamom, coffee, tobacco, tomato, potato, paddy and grapes. Use the product as per the direction of local agriculture authority.
