Dose & application

Rate: take it from the pack. The registered rate for this product changes with the crop and the pest, and Agritas will not print a figure here that might not match the label in your hand. Your Haryali Markaz will confirm it.

Timing: Calibrate before the season starts, not in the middle of a spray. Walk a measured 100 metres and check what the machine actually puts out.

Why it pays

A sprayer that is not calibrated turns every bottle you buy into a guess. Correct output is the difference between the rate on the label and the rate that actually lands on the crop, and it costs nothing to check.

Field tips

Calibrate at the start of every season. Nozzles wear, and a worn nozzle puts out far more than it should while looking exactly the same.

Replace nozzles rather than cleaning them with wire. A scratched orifice sprays an uneven pattern for the rest of its life.

Rinse three times after a herbicide, and keep a separate sprayer for herbicides if you can. It is cheaper than losing a crop to a contaminated tank.
