Citrus Canker

Raised corky brown lesions with an oily yellow halo on leaves, twigs and fruit. It is bacterial and spreads in wind-driven rain, so it moves fastest in the monsoon and wherever leaf miner tunnels have opened wounds for it to enter.

How to scout

Inspect new flush after every monsoon shower, and treat leaf miner damage as an early warning that canker will follow.
