A leafhopper is the common name for any species from the family Cicadellid. These minute insects, colloquially known as hoppers, are plant feeders that suck plant sap from grass, shrubs, or trees
How to scout
Look at the underside of leaves in the middle of the plant. Yellowing and downward-curling leaf edges are the first sign.
Action threshold: Spray when 1 nymph per leaf is found on average.
