Carbo Super 3%G is a soil granule from Agritas carrying phorate and carbofuran. It is not sprayed. The granules go into the soil or the plant whorl, where they are taken up and act against stem borer, root-knot nematode and the soil insects that feed below ground.

Dose & application
Recommended dose: 900–1080 g/acre (sugarcane stem borer).
Best time to apply: Apply at the crop stage and timing recommended on the product label.
Dose: Use the crop- and pest-specific dose stated on the CarboSuper label.
Safety: These active ingredients can be highly toxic. Use gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and other PPE required by the label.
Important: Do not exceed the recommended dose or apply more frequently than directed.
Water safety: Keep the product away from irrigation channels, ponds, wells and drinking-water sources.
Storage: Keep securely in the original container, away from children, livestock, food and animal feed.
Important: Follow the registered CarboSuper label and local pesticide regulations.

Why it pays
Once a borer is inside the stem, a grub is under the soil or a nematode is inside the root, no spray can reach it — by the time the damage shows above ground there is nothing left for a foliar application to land on. A granule placed at the right stage puts the active where those pests actually are.
Field tips
This is applied, not sprayed: no water in the tank, because it is not diluted, and no spray volume. Put it where the label says. Where it goes into the furrow or banded in the row, irrigate afterwards so it moves into the root zone; where it goes into the whorl, leave it dry — watering washes the granules out of the whorl and onto the ground, which is exactly where they must not be. Rotate to a different chemical group between seasons rather than using it repeatedly.
Safety
Phorate and carbofuran are the most acutely toxic actives in this catalogue. Both block cholinesterase — the way nerve agents work — and a small quantity of granules is a lethal dose for a child or an adult.
If anyone is exposed: remove contaminated clothing and wash the skin with soap and water at once, because phorate goes straight through skin. Take them to hospital immediately with the container, and tell the doctor it contains BOTH an organophosphate and a carbamate — the treatment differs between the two, and an oxime that helps against one is not given for the other. Watch for sweating, vomiting, pinpoint pupils, weakness and difficulty breathing. Do not induce vomiting. Flush a splashed eye with clean running water for fifteen minutes.
Never handle the granules with bare hands. Never leave them lying on the soil surface — birds, poultry and children pick them up — so cover them. Keep everyone out of the field for the interval on the label.
Store it locked, away from food, feed and seed, and never inside the house. Keep granules and irrigation run-off out of channels, ponds and wells: carbofuran dissolves readily, travels with water, and is lethal to fish and birds. Never re-use the empty bag for grain, feed, water or anything else.
