Overview

NutriFlux is a biostimulant from Agritas. It is neither a fertiliser nor a pesticide: it is for a crop that has taken a check and needs to start moving again — after transplanting, or after weather or a dry spell has held it back.

Why it pays

A crop that stalls loses more than the days it stands still. It flowers late, into worse weather, and never quite catches up. A hungry crop needs feeding and a checked crop needs starting; this is for the second, and the two are different problems with different answers.

Field tips

Use it when there is a reason — after transplant, at the end of a dry spell, or when a crop has stalled after a check. On a crop that is simply short of food, fertiliser does more for the money. On a salt-affected patch the soil is the problem, and no foliar spray reaches it: that needs gypsum where the land is sodic, and leaching with working drainage where it is saline. Do not expect to see anything in a day — leave a strip unsprayed and compare after a week.

Safety

Do not mix nutrients into a tank with other products unless the label says it is safe. Spray on the foliage in the cool part of the day; applying in strong heat scorches the leaves. Store in a dry place away from feed and drinking water.
